The Silver Sneakers program, administered by Weirton-based Healthways, will continue to provide senior citizens in the Greater Weirton Area with free visits to the Weirton Millsop Community Center (WMCC) as part of their regular benefit plan.

   Currently, the Silver Sneakers program includes senior citizens who have their benefits through insurance companies associated with Healthways.

   Through Silver Sneakers, area seniors are able to take part in exercise classes offered by certified instructors in the WMCC Aerobics Room or swimming pool, or engage in individual workouts in any of the workout areas housed in the 86,000-square facility.
