More than 70 years after it first opened, Marland Heights Park remains the perfect gathering spot for special events.
The park, which opened in 1934, has hosted everything from dances, reunions, and graduation parties to weddings
and formal banquets. Its affordable rental rates make it an ideal location for almost any special day.
Nestled in the small-town setting of Marland Heights, one of the three communities that formed the city of Weirton
in 1947, the park features three shelters, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, horse shoe pits, a bocci court and a
beach volleyball court to meet the recreation needs of people of all ages. The park boasts a state-of-the-art playground designed
for kids ages 5 to 12.
The park is located at the corner of Riverview Avenue and Williams Drive.
